Good news on staying alive, thanks to early detection - Cancer survival hope

CANCER survival rates have soared in the past 20 years with some sufferers now more than twice as likely to beat the life-threatening disease. A new report reveals the survival rate for all cancers has increased by more than 25 per cent thanks to earlier detection rates and better treatments. More than 94 per cent of melanoma sufferers, 86 per cent of people with breast cancer and 95 per cent of testicular cancer patients are now likely to survive.
